Jeni’s horse set with gemstones combine her beautiful sculptural abilities with an extra touch of detail. This collection consists of both sterling silver horses and well as 14KY and 14KW gold designs. Jeni is both a jeweler and an artist. She sets stones as small as one millimeter to accent eyes and delicate features in some of her equestrian pendants. Needless to say the magnification level required for working with stones down to one millimeter is extremely intense. Larger stones are incorporated as more prominent elements for some designs as well.
Faceted gems are not the only stones incorporated into the horses in this collection. Jeni uses some briollets and even naturally tumbled pieces of seashells for some of her jewelry.
Many of the horses set with gemstones tend to present a more formal take on equestrian jewelry. Designs in this collection have even been purchased to be used as bridal jewelry. The genuine gems enhance the look and feeling of elegance inherent to these designs.
Jeni offers a variety of gem stone options, however she is happy to customize any design with other gems as well. Unfortunately Jeni does not take gemstones provided by customer, however she can set anything desired in most designs. In the case of horses set with gemstones as eyes, she must use diamonds, sapphires of any color, or ruby due to the setting style and mohs hardness required for it. The Daisy necklace is exclusively available in gold with Diamonds and precious gemstones, however any of Jeni’s work can be special ordered in gold.
